What we do

Roofing services across Southeast Michigan.

Six things, done properly — for houses, manufactured homes, garages and low-slope commercial roofs.

All services

A roofer tearing off old shingles down to the deck on the gable end of a two-storey house.

Roof replacement

Tear-off to the deck, decking repairs, and a complete new system — underlayment, flashing, shingles and venting.

Roof repair

Leaks, wind damage, flashing and pipe boots. Fixed properly when a repair is genuinely the right answer.

Storm damage repair

Wind and hail damage found, photographed and documented — and taken to your insurer with you.

Shingle roofing

Architectural asphalt shingles over a full underlayment system, with the venting to match.

Gutters

Gutters, downspouts and fascia, pitched so water leaves the roof and stays away from the foundation.

Free roof inspections

A free half-hour on the roof, photographs of what is there, and an honest answer about what it needs.

Under every shingle

The same system on every roof we build.

Whichever service brings us out, the roof goes back together in this order.

  • The deck

The old roof comes off so we can see the wood. Soft or rotten sheathing gets replaced before anything new goes down.

  • Ice & water shield

Self-adhering membrane at the eaves, valleys and every penetration — where Michigan ice backs water up under the shingles.

  • Synthetic underlayment

Full-coverage synthetic across the field. It sheds water and keeps the deck dry while the job is open.

  • Starter, field & ridge

Starter course at the eaves and rakes, architectural shingles up the field, then hip and ridge caps to close it out.

  • Metal & ventilation

Drip edge, step and counter-flashing at every wall and chimney, new pipe boots, ridge venting. Roofs leak at the metal first.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

Step 01

Free inspection

We get on the roof, photograph what is there, and tell you what we would do — including “nothing yet”.

Step 02

A written quote

Scope, materials and timeline in writing. If it is an insurance claim, we help you document it properly.

Step 03

Install day

Landscaping and windows protected, tear-off, decking repairs, then the new system goes on.

Step 04

Walk it with you

Magnet sweep of the drive and lawn, gutters cleared of debris, and a walk-around before we pull out.

Free inspection

Get it looked at before the next storm.

Half an hour on the roof, photographs of what is going on up there, and a straight answer — at no charge.

Free quote

Tell us about the roof.

Send the address and what the roof is doing. Joe’s will come back to set up a free inspection.

  • The inspection and the quote are free — nothing to pay to find out where you stand.
  • Photos help: a ceiling stain, a missing shingle, a sagging gutter.
  • Storm or hail claim? Say so and we will document it for your insurer.
